AHHHH THIS DRAGON AGE DUDE IS STARING AT ME!!!
I've been complaining about this for a while now - politics shouldn't be a team sport. Believe what you believe and vote for the people that come closest to those beliefs regardless of party affiliation.The only time I stray from that is in that I tend to only vote for people that have an actual chance of winning. If there is a guy in the primaries that I agree with 75% and one that I believe in 90%, but the 90% guy is a horrible public speaker, looks funny, and has some personal issues that will make him hard to get elected, then I'll vote for the 75% guy instead. This seems disingenuous to some people, but I'd rather have a good bet on 75% than a bad bet on 90% because the losing bet will give me the guy that I believe in like 5%...which isn't exactly a win for me.All that being said, I've only ever voted democratic, but that is because there hasn't been a viable 3rd party option that is more liberal than the Democrats.

He is right, but so what? If I want to spend my time doing whatever, that is my business, it isn't my responsibility to populate the world. BTW, you will notice this guy is a religious leader, so the real reason he wants more kids is that he figures the more kids his flock has, the more future members of his temple there will be... and thus he will make more money. So who is really the selfish one?

The thing is, they weren't "gathering evidence", they were suborning perjury. Perjury isn't evidence, it's the opposite of evidence.There's a federal charge that these two can be brought up on, which is conspiracy to deprive a person of their constitutional rights under color of law. It's a ten-year stretch in federal prison per count.-jcr |
