I once went to a church where the pastor was very much against Harry Potter. He decided to do a sermon about it and needed something upon which to base it. He found an article that perfectly fit what he believed. He read the article to the congregation as proof of how evil Harry Potter was. The article had quotes from the author and from school administrators and from satanists all praising the book and how it was turning children away from Christianity. He didn't cite his source, so when I got home I immediately scoured the internet to find the article. I searched for a phrase from the article "Jesus can suck the big greasy ***** of Satan" and found the article to be from the onion. I confronted the pastor about the legitimacy of the article and he was bewildered because those were quotes attributed to people and people can't just make up quotes and attribute them to people. /I don't normally write this verbosely//found a link that has the text http://www.thenoiseboard.com/lofiversion/index.php ... starts where it says Harry Potter books spark rise in satanism

The emotionally impaired read this crap and buy "empty" H2O in little bottles. I have fine, tasty tap water, and I will continue to enjoy it at approximately one-ten thousandth of the cost of bottled water..

the first thing mentioned is the name? really? how important is that? the iPhone is called the "iPhone", for *****'s sake. Droid = dumb. iPhone - dumb. Razr = dumb. Blackjack = dumb, Chocolate = WAY dumb. Virtually all cell phones have stupid names. I have owned three of those mentioned above and been pretty happy with all of them (and ashamed to tell people what phone i used, in every case) |
