Yeah I know--I love the Addams family. The Adams family though...they're a bunch of *****.
yes! this was obviously the 4 year old's preants fault and not the 14 year old who committed murder.

“The space side anchor would probably be beyond geosynchronous orbit to counteract load lifting and atmospheric drag, as well as to help keep the cable taut and stabilize the orbit. A laser may be the most cost effective alternative due to permanent installation, hookup to the grid, easy maintenance, fairly efficient power conversion, and with new technology, the ability to beam through atmosphere without issue. Cable power would be problematic for many reasons, and fuel on board is right out due to weight. If they figure out a way to use static electricity, they could help power the laser with that. You need a differential (ground in this case) to create electrical impulse.

Any explanation as to why these are "intriguing"? Just a very short description and quip about the movie..nothing else..
They are right and in being right there is a new phrase that emerges to describe them:Common CarrierTime to stop the denial and start with the regulation, bitches! Sure, you can have subsidies, but you sure as ***** are considered common carriers now.!

Actually I was basing it off of the fact that operating frequiencies havent changed much since the P4 era, all theyve done is double and quadruple the number of cores. There has to be a practical limit to the number of cores you can efficiently use on one chip.?
Burglars would just smash a window in the back. They're not interested in opening doors. They don't even carry lock picks. |

Verizon's entire network is 3g and exponentially more reliable than AT&T could even dream their network to be. AT&T has a larger overall network than Verizon but the bulk majority of it is 2g, Verizon's 3g network embarrasses AT&T's. To add insult to injury the iPhone's don't do well holding service when jumping between 2g and 3g which leads to almost all of the dropped calls. You'll have dropped calls on Verizon but it will only be because you completely dropped coverage or you are talking to a friend on AT&T. I have services for both companies (work and personal) and I want to throw my AT&T phone out the window more often than not. I've taken business calls on my Verizon phone because I'm sick of dropped calls. Driving around in Austin, TX or Dallas, TX you'll be lucky to have less than a dozen dropped calls per 60 minutes of talk time on AT&T iPhone.

He should probably also stop flying around the world in his carbon-spewing jet while he's at it.

I can't wait for the Hobbit. I know Tolkein purists hated the Lord of the Rings films, but to everyone else who either never read the books or appreciated the films in spite of not filming every single scene from the books, they were seminal achievements that came about at just the right time. I don't think there was a single dry eye coming out of the theater after Return of the King... when a freaking *fantasy* film affects everyone that emotionally, you know it was done right.
