If you have ever been on a large U.S. Military base you would know it is far from secure for somebody to simply walk onto the base and walk around. I was stationed on Camp Pendleton for 4 years and always wondered about the security, i guess it is good enough to stop an Oklahoma City style truck bomb from getting in but that is about it.

Not having dedicated servers means several things to me:1) Smaller player limits as VERY few people have home connections with large upload pipes. 2) The ability to host your own games is going to hinge on knowing how to properly configure your firewall(s). If a particular group of friends doesn't have a token geek they are *****. 3) Hosting a game is going to dominate the connection, giving every other member of your house grief. 4) Extremely unpredictable online experience due to relying on Joe Nobody to have a stable, killer connection, located on a node with minimal hops to route through.
