To be honest I can sort of empathise with the L4D2 boycotters for being angry, but I would encourage any member of that group to at least play the demo, you might be surprised. I know I was. I gladly paid 45$ to pre-order L4D2, and even playing the two maps in the demo has made me wildly happy. It's that good. The entire experience, the whole "feel" of the game is different from L4D1, and I don't think it's something that could have been added piecemeal to the first game. I mean, sure, you can add more weapons, maps, and content to your heart's content, but it truly feels like a seperate game so far. Just from comparing the two in the past week or so, L4D1 plays a lot more like a Half-Life 2 mod than the sequel. I can't really pin it down specifically, but something about playing it is very reminiscent (not that that's a bad thing)Besides, Valve (perhaps) releasing a sequel too early can't really be compared to anything as draconian as removing everything from the game that makes PC gaming unique, along with an arbitrary 60$ price tag... thanks, IW/loyal valve fan and customer
