Japan is ranked 32 in population density.Japan really isn't densely populated at all really. most of the population reside in only 3 or 4 cities, so you get the impression that it is densely populated; but country has a lot of countryside where there is barely anyone.!

The way I understand it, P2P requires that more of the data be generated client-side in order to compensate for the increase in latency that is ineveitable with using P2P. This works out OK for consoles, because consoles are extremely difficult to hack. This is not the case for PC games.Use P2P for PC games, and there will be hacks up the wazoo....just watch.?
#1, CNet is *****. These flunkies have never been known for their insightful, technical reporting. They are well known to give favorable reviews of ***** products (hello, Microsoft?) from big advertising clients.Having said that, the article you referenced is actually an indictment of AT&T's ***** service - not the iPhone itself. I live in South Florida, and the call quality and dependability here are adequate if not fantastic. The iPhone's features and quality vastly outweigh the occasional service inconvenience. Now for people in San Francisco or NYC, the network issue is more significant. If I lived in either of those cities I might find it more difficult to tolerate AT&T.CORRECTION: The article is from CNet.UK so the service issue is with O2, apparently AT&T's twin in the UK. Same difference, though - it's a network capacity problem, which is not the phone's fault. |
